Penang Private Tour

Start the tour by walk along the Chew Jetty – an old Chinese waterfront settlement; Travel to inner George Town for an exploratory walking tour in search of the unique murals or wall paintings mimicking life in the city. Many have become enamoured of the newly transformed streetscape of George Town. Discover the wrought-iron caricatures with anecdotal descriptions of the streets that they adorn. Blending humour and historical facts, sufficient time will be given for photo-shooting. ​

You’ll be driven through Street Harmony which houses the Anglican Church, Kuan Yin Chinese Temple, Mahamariaman Indian Temple and the Kapitan Keling Mosque. Visit the majestic and ornate Khoo Clan Ancestral House. It is well known worldwide for its extensive lineage that can be traced back 650 years ago, as well as its closely-knit and defensive congregation of buildings and a magnificent clan house.

Evening Food Trail Private Tour

A guided walking tour on Penang traditional street foods:

  1. A walking tour bring you to enjoy the street foods/drinks in local cafes while take in the sight of traditions and cultures as we walk the street.
  2. Try some 10-18 traditional Penang famous street foods and drinks. You will be full at the end of this tour.
  3. Learn the ingredients and preparation of Penang dishes like Lor Bak, Wantan Mee, Roti Canai, Assam Laksa, Char Koay Teow, Hokkien Meem Curry Mee; drinks like nutmeg juice, ambra, barley, white coffee and desserts like Chendol, ABC or rojak.
  4. Savor local snacks like Malay cakes or variety of Indian snacks like apom (crepe) and famous nasi kandar or banana leaf meals.
  5. View heritage building architectures and street art murals along the way.
